Coping with Overstimulation
It is so common for people in today's world to feel overstimulated. We're often multi-tasking, with a huge to-do list on our minds, and sensory information such as sights and sounds being thrown at us from every direction. While overstimulation is common among most people, I think overstimulation in motherhood is even more common. The endless noise, needs, and lacking boundaries with small kids can be a lot to manage. In this video I talk a bit about my experience with overstimulation and how understanding our window of tolerance can help us to cope.
